Walking with Wild Kangaroos Private Half-Day Trip from Sydney

Your private guide picks you up at your Sydney hotel in the early afternoon and sets off for outer Sydney.

Travel to a location where you are likely to see as many as 40 kangaroos. Keep an eye out for native birds like kookaburras, cockatoos, rosellas, rainbow lorikeets, and magpies. Have time to watch the kangaroos at rest and at play, then travel back to Parramatta for drop-off at the ferry wharf. Board the ferry (tickets not included) to travel down the Parramatta River and back into the heart of Sydney.

Important note: Kangaroos are wild animals, and there is no guarantee of kangaroo sightings on the day of your visit. However, if no kangaroos are sighted during your tour, you can book the same tour on another day at no extra charge.

This is no tour around a wildlife sanctuary. Instead, we head to one of a number of areas where you are likely to see wild kangaroos and possibly some native Australian birdlife. Our friendly knowledgeable guides aka ‘our kangaroo whisperers‘ are the best there are and will convey you to the Blue Mountains or Outer Sydney where we normally see many kangaroos, playing, eating, sleeping, etc.On some tours, we have seen over 100 kangaroos in the area on one day. These are wild animals in their natural surrounds. Depending on the day and how they are approached, you may see them lying on the ground, grazing, fighting, bounding away, playing, and generally enjoying themselves.

If child is less than 8 years, you must inform us prior to the trip so that we have a child seat with us and the tour can take place. This is a legal requirement.
