Summary

Upon arrival at the center, there will be a short briefing to mark our water excursion followed by the distribution of the equipment consisting of a mask, tube, fins, and wetsuits. Then our monitors will begin the experience of "walking in the sea", which consists of going swimming or snorkeling through the natural bay of La Caleta and every 10 or 15 meters the instructor / guide will stop, go down and take a photo of typical flora or fauna of the area. The photo will be shown to the members of the group and will comment on what they see. This will be during the entire excursion, making this activity unique in the Canary Islands. Upon departure, participants will be offered a hot shower, water or coffee. Likewise, they will be given all the photos and videos of the experience.

Our experience in the natural bay of La Caleta is unique in Tenerife thanks to the large number of flora and fauna that can be seen in this natural space. It is an interactive excursion in which the client and the monitor share images and knowledge of the aquatic environment.

About operator:

The adventure starts at the Apnea Academy West Europe center, with a brief session. We will provide you with all the necessary equipment For scuba diving, snorkeling, or whatever else you are going to do with us (kayak, paddle surf, whale watching...). Once we are all ready to go, we walk down to the bay, only 1 minute away from the center. As opposed to all other excursions in Tenerife, you won’t have to wait in queues or experience the stress ports can cause. Depending on the activity you are about to do in peace with nature, you will jump to the sea or into the boat directly from La Caleta bay and sail into open sea. We don’t mix groups of people that don’t know each other, so you will have the whole boat to yourself and your family and/or friends. After, you will ride back to La Caleta bay and head back to the center, where you can have a hot shower and head out ready for any other adventures you have planned for the day. We recommend you stay for lunch or dinner in La Caleta where you will find a wide range of Restaurants specialized in Sea-Food.
