Walk from Santa Margherita Ligure to the Portofino lighthouse

A guided walk from Santa Margherita Ligure into nature to discover the symbol of Portofino and the fascinating views of the Levante coast.

Cross Santa Margherita and its elegant Lungomare and then take one of the most beautiful paths in the Portofino Natural Park.

Walk on an ancient mule track to Nozarego, at an altitude of 200 meters through Mediterranean scrub and mixed woods.

Admire the view over the Gulf of Tigullio. Hear the story of one of the most beautiful coastal stretches in Italy, characterized by historic villas and castles overlooking the sea, by gardens in bloom and lush green of maritime pines and palm trees.

Enter the Mulino del Gassetta, the last of the 35 mills in the area, restored as an ecomuseum of the Park, refuge and restaurant.

After 2 hours and 30 minutes you will arrive at the characteristic tower houses of Portofino, the charming fishing village. Continue for another 30 minutes until you reach the Lighthouse, here, at the extreme tip of the Promontory, you can enjoy an aperitif (not included) or simply relax while admiring the view.

Return to S. Margherita by boat or shuttle bus.
