Waimea waterfall hike trail is a 1.5-mile hike over mostly flat, paved ground, surrounded by magnificent botanical gardens and historical sites, which concludes with a 45-foot waterfall. The hike is a cultural experience best enjoyed when time is taken to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Swimming at the waterfall is dependent on daily waterfall conditions. Lifeguards make the swim call for the day at 9 am.

Shuttle transportation available from Hale Ho'ike to Wailele waterfall turns around. The first shuttle starts at 9:45 am, one-way $10 for each person.
