This tour will take you to Sintra, a world heritage site, where medieval streets, castles, palaces, and chalets of diverse architectures coexist, inserted in a natural park that shows plants from diverse parts of the world, forming a vast and magical green forest. Along the journey from Lisbon to Sintra you will stop at the front of Palácio Naciional de Queluz (Queluz National Palace), not infrequently called the Portuguese Versailles.
On arrival at Sintra, beside the Centro Historico (Historical Centre), there are nearby a lot of interesting points to visit, such as, Sintra National Palace, the Pena Palace, Seteais Palace, Monserrate Palace, Parque Natural de Sintra and Quinta da Regaleira. There will be time to enable you to visit in depth (1.5 hour), accordingly your preferences, one of the following sites: Pena Palace, Monserrate Palace or Quinta da Regaleira, All the other previously referred sites will be briefly visited, due to time constraints.
Onwards, you will travel towards the Atlantic Ocean, to discover Cape Roca, the westernmost point of Europe. You follow forth, along the sea with a stop at the Guincho Beach to admire its enormous sand bed, that hosts many international surfing events due to gigantic waves. You will pass through Hell’s mouth (Boca do Inferno), Cascais and Estoril, both famous for their cosmopolitan environment, and finally visiting Estoril’s worldly renounced Casino and beautiful gardens. Finally, you will return to Lisbon, driving along the Estoril Coast admiring the breath-taking sight of white sanded beaches along the way.
