Why take this tour?
This is a private tour - only for you and your group. Duration 11-12 hours. Your guide/driver will be either Gulla or Villi or both. This tour reveals magnificent landscape and diversity in nature - and if you like to hear more about our history and settlement you are on the right track. We drive from Reykjavik or where you want to be picked up towards the harbor in Landeyjar. The ferry Herjólfur will take us to Heimaey or the home island. Westman islands are a group of islands off the south coast of Iceland. Heimaey is the only island that is inhabited all year long. The sailing time is around 40 minutes by the ferry , but you have panorama view the whole trip, on a good day. You can enjoy the islands and if you look towards the main island - Iceland you have a great overview of our south coast and Eyjafjallajökull. It is magnificent when we enter the harbor and it feels like the seabirds and puffins are welcoming us. This tour brings so many different sights - worth visiting.

PuffinTravel is a family owned company the owners are Viglundur Thor (Villi) and Gudlaug Osk (Gulla). And we are the only employees so if you book our tours you will meet either Gulla or Villi.
