A Great Way to Experience the Vast Acreage of Versaille!
It's a great way to see and feel the extent of the grounds around Versaille. It's a leisurely bike ride with only two moderate hills to climb. The lunch by the Grand Canal is a nice touch and there is plenty of history imparted throughout, topped off with an unguided visit to the palace, which is nothing short of awe-inspiring. It's a great day!
ANNIE and biking with KIDS, BOOK IT! Fantastic!
Annie was incredible. We are from Los Angeles and only speak English and she was so easy to understand, she presented the historical information in such a simple, easy to stay engaged and fun way, even our 6 and 8 year old enjoyed it. I was concerned about being able to bike 10 miles tandem with my daughter who is 6, but as soon as I saw the bike and the terrain I felt confidant and we both really enjoyed ourselves. They had a tandem bike, she had her own handle bars and pedals, she was able to help out and I often heard giggling. This pleasantly surprised me in the best of ways. The picnic lunch was great, you stop at a little square that has cheese, meat, wine and more, you can even grab sandwiches that are already made. We also had grandparents with us (early 60s), they had e-bikes and they both really enjoyed this as well. One is a history lover and thought Annie was incredible as well. If you are on the fence about this BOOK IT, its totally worth it, to be able to cover so much ground and learn so much in such an simple and delightful way, was worth EVERY penny.
Best thing we did!
Our bike trip around Versailles was the best thing we did in Paris! JP was incredibly friendly, funny, and engaging, keeping everyone entertained with his knowledge of the gardens, history, and Versailles. The beautiful gardens, farmers market shopping, and picnic were highlights and a great way to experience local food and culture. Ending the tour at the palace was the perfect way to wrap up the day. We had such a great time and would absolutely recommend this tour, especially JP!

Our tour guide Dave was absolutely amazing! Traveled with 2 kids, age 10 and 13, and they both had a blast. From the shopping at the farmer's market, to the biking, to the picnic, to the history, all was paced and delivered perfectly. Dave kept my son so entertained the entire time that he was sad when it was over. Everyone agreed that it was the highlight of our week-long Paris trip.
