Good to know
- Unforeseen events= The Vatican is its own country and therefore the Pope can decide also last minute to close St. Peter’s Basilica for ad hoc events. It is a very rare event during the year but it is possibile and we will do our best to inform you. If it is too late to inform you, our guide will extend the tour in the Vatican. Not to worry that the incredibile collection of Vatican Museums and the masterpiece of Michelagelo in the Sistine Chapel will still be included.
- Most of our tours include the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. However, there are two specific options with different inclusions. You will find below:
- Museums & SISTINE CHAPEL Tour – Includes the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel but does NOT include St. Peter’s Basilica.
- ST.PETER'S BASILICA TOUR – Includes St. Peter’s Basilica but does NOT include the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel.

Maybe The Line Isn’t All That Bad?
The value is in not having to wait in line. But honestly, I felt held captive on this tour. Really, to see the main points, wonder and be able to ask questions. The tour guide rambled like a rough draft high school English paper and was hard to understand.
The Pope’s house
Lana was incredibly great. Thank you
Book it!
Money well spent to smile the line and learn all about what we were seeing! Allessai was fantastic, friendly and easy to understand. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend!
*double check the fine print for what is included* The main title has multiple areas but on there is also one that only does the Basilica. Just make sure you know what you’re booking :) I booked the ‘St Peter’s Basilica only’ tour on for a Sunday so the Chapel was closed. It was still an incredible tour. Our guide Mario is insanely knowledgeable and I would have loved the full 3 piece tour with him. He knows so many small tidbits about the church that you wouldn’t learn just by walking around on your own. The headset/speakers are genius and such a great way to speak to a big group. Everyone could sort of wander off a little and still hear the information. Mario kept track of us well so we could see as much as possible, without having to wait for stragglers. Would definitely book this trip again.
The beauty of the Vatican
Excellent tour and guide. Our tour guide Lucia was very thorough explaining the different parts of our visit and gave us ample time to enjoy the Vatican. Highly recommend this excursion to others especially Lucia.
