Van Gogh Small Group Tour With van Gogh Museum visit from Amsterdam

Greet your driver-guide outside the Van Gogh Museum on Paulus Potterstraat 7 at 9am, when you’ll board a minivan destined for Nuenen. During the 2-hour journey, your guide provides a historical overview of the town, which served as Van Gogh’s hometown for two years.

Visit locations that inspired some of the 500 paintings Vincent Van Gogh painted during his two years in Nuenen and take a guided tour of the Vicentre Museum, home to The Potato Eaters.

After free time to explore the village independently, you’ll return to Amsterdam and beat long lines outside of the Van Gogh Museum with a skip-the-line ticket.

Before heading inside to explore independently, your guide provides you with a ticket for a 1-hour canal cruise, which you can use at a time convenient to you.

You discover the ideas and ambitions behind his art. You follow the on-going search of an artist who was constantly trying to improve himself. In this way, you get a new view of an artist you thought you knew. This excursion will transport you on a journey through Vincent’s life, walking in his footsteps in Nuenen and visiting the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
