Valais, Switzerland - Inflatable Kayaks (funyaks)

Inflatable kayaks or duckies are a great option if you want to be the chief of your own craft; you can paddle tandem or solo. At Valais Wallis Adventures, we want everybody to be able to enjoy the wonders of the waterways, which is why; we designed two different tours that will suit every adventure need.

For our Intro Ducky trip, you should arrive to our base in Salgesch at 16 pm, for the Energy Ducky tour, we have three starting times, at 12 pm, 15 pm and 18 pm.

Once here, we will give you all necessary equipment (new helmets, neoprene jackets and suits, neoprene booties and life jackets). Then, we will drive you about 10 min. to the put in on the river and your certified guides will give you a security briefing and a practice run.

Our guides are certified both, internationally and nationally, have all the needed instruction, several years of experience all over the world and love what they do, so rest sure, that you could not be on better hands, they also speak multiple languages.

If you chose the Intro Ducky descent, you will get our mildest option, a tandem or solo inflatable kayak with which, you will run a section class II of the big Rhone River. For around 1, 5 h, you will paddle a fun, full of games, swimming and nature kind of trip, suitable for young ages.

For more acting paddling, you should try the Energy Ducky tour, a 1h of splashing through the big and continuous waves of the great Rhone river class III+ section. You can chose to go tandem or solo, but you cannot chose to stay dry.

Once on the take out, we will drive you back to the base, where you can take a hot shower and taste a healthy and delicious snack: cookies, gluten-free homemade hazelnut bread, trail-mix, fresh fruit and a cold drink (juice, lemon water / coffee and tea).

As an extra, we offer a photography service that cost 50 chf for all the pictures of your boat, about 30 to 50 awesome pics that we can send you by we-transfer, or if you prefer, you are welcome to bring a pen-drive.

Our base has a parking space, changing rooms, hot showers and a chilling area. We are located inside the Sportfit Center on the town of Salgesch.

If you are looking for water sports, you are in the right place! In the Valais, you can find the Rhone River, a big volume waterway that has charming landscapes and plenty of fun and action to please everybody.

Our mild option will be the Intro Ducky, an inflatable kayak tour of 1.5h, full of games and swimming, suitable for children, seniors and all those who just want to chill, do not forget that you still have to paddle. You can go tandem or solo.

For white water action and a whole lot of fun, we have an Energy Ducky tour. A class III+ trip of active paddling that will get you totally wet. Prepare to ride tandem or solo, big waves and to have a continuous descent of around 1h full of splashing action.

We offer certified guides, new equipment and transport during the activity. When you return to the base, you can take a hot shower and taste a delicious snack, as an extra we offer a photography service.
