Uluguru Trekking Tour 4 days 3 Nights

Kinole is well known because is the headquarter of the Waluguru’s chief Kingalu. The place is located 48km from Morogoro town in the feet of the eastern side of the Uluguru mountains. A route for the hikers from Morogoro to Kinole takes you through Nyanyiko traditional site where chief Kingalu was used to rest on his way to Nguru Mountain to worship during those good old days. When going to Kinole on foot it is highly recommended to engage a tour guide who knows the path.

At Tegetero forest you will be able to see the Uluguru Bush- shrikes, Allanblackia uluguruensis and saintpaulia species (all endemics to the Uluguru Mountains.) For the more adventurous, there is 8hours Tegetero trail which takes you from Morogoro town through the forest to Tegetero Mission. This trail takes you into the home of the rare bird species-the Uluguru Bush-shirkers and Africa violet (saintpaulia species.).
