Why take this tour?
We will teach you how to read a creek for gold bearing areas, how to pan for gold. We will show you how to set up a sluice box/Highbanker so that you have a great shot at finding a good amount of gold. Two days of highbanking, sluicing and panning. This is for the serious gold miner who wants to know a bit more about mining than the average person. You will be tired and sore after two days so book if you dare. A group consists of up to 2 adults and 3 children if there are more in your party please contact us before booking to set up special pricing and reserve enough equipment and guides for your party we want you to get the best experience possible

Come have fun learning to pan & sluice on our claim on the historic Woods Creek. Keep all of the gold that you find! Our private claim has not been mined by the public. The floods from this last winter has cleared new areas in the creek bed and moved a nice amount of gold we have been having some great luck this year. We accept groups up to 2 adults with 3 children, give us a call if there are more in your party. We are only a 5 mile detour on your way to or from Yosemite! This is a must on your Bucket List!
