Good to know
- The Met is fully wheelchair accessible. However, if you cannot climb the stairs of the central entrance to reach the meeting point, there is a ground level entrance one block south, near the intersection of 81st street and 5th avenue. Tell the desk you need to use the elevator to meet a group in the main lobby (at the pharaoh statue), which will then secure your entrance ticket. They will provide you with a temporary pass and help direct you upstairs.

Great tour by Kevin!
Kevin was a great tour guide. It was a small tour of only 4 of us which meant it was even more important to have an informative and friendly tour guide. Kevin made us all very relaxed to ask any questions. He had a wealth of info. Really pleased !

Stephane was an excellent tour guide! As luck had it, no one else signed up, so I had a private tour. He was amazing, knowledgeable, and so interesting. What a treat!
Only satisfactory
Guide and selection of exhibits to view where only satisfactory. 20 minutes lost from tour time when guide took 15 minutes to obtain our tickets, and then directed everybody to the restroom before even starting the tour. No brief commentary on the hundreds of exhibits we walked through to get to selected destinations. No real enthusiasm from our guide in general.
