Love connor an exceptional guide
Connor was, without exaggeration, the absolute highlight of our Up at The O2 experience. The climb and the views were fantastic, but Connor is what made the day exceptional. He has an almost unbelievable ability with people. Within minutes, he had taken a group of strangers and created such a fun, relaxed and genuinely joyful atmosphere. He is incredibly charismatic, naturally funny, warm, attentive and completely effortless in the way he engages with people. You simply cannot teach that level of people skills. What struck us most was his extraordinary enthusiasm and zest for life. His energy is completely infectious. He clearly takes enormous pride in what he does, and that passion comes through in absolutely everything. At no point did it feel like we were just another group being taken through another climb. Connor made the experience feel personal, exciting and genuinely special. We honestly spent most of the journey home talking about him. That is how much of an impression he made. You can have an amazing attraction, incredible views and a brilliantly organised experience, but it is people like Connor who turn it into something guests will actually remember and tell other people about. I sincerely hope his managers recognise what an exceptional member of staff they have. Connor deserves every bit of recognition that can come from this review, and frankly, if there is an opportunity for promotion or progression within the organisation, someone should be having that conversation with him. He has exactly the enthusiasm, leadership presence, emotional intelligence and extraordinary people skills that any organisation should be desperate to retain and develop. Up at The O2 was a brilliant day out, but Connor made it unforgettable. Give this man a promotion. He absolutely deserves it.
