Your tour begins mid-morning when you’re whisked away in a van from the tour shop in Florence to one of the only remaining private castles in the Chianti Rufina region. Built during the 12th century, the castle has a winery, olive farm, and fruit orchards.
Take a Vespa lesson and get ready to hit the open road. Your guide chooses an itinerary and takes you through winding hills and picturesque Tuscan countryside. Stop at vineyards, villas, and olive groves for photos while your guide shares insight into local history and culture.
Return to the castle and learn about how local wine and olive oil is made. Enjoy a traditional lunch and wine tasting with olive oil and honey made on-site. After lunch, return to Florence in time for an afternoon nap.
