Tuscany Experience: Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano and Chianti from Florence

This full-day trip from Florence covers Tuscany's most iconic stops in one outing — art cities, medieval villages, and the countryside in between — without you having to plan the route or the timing yourself.

You'll start in Pisa, at the Piazza dei Miracoli. You'll have free time to see the Cathedral, the Baptistery, and of course the Leaning Tower.

From there, you'll head into the Chianti hills. You'll stop at a wine estate for a traditional Tuscan light lunch paired with a tasting of local wines — a good chance to slow down and actually taste the region, not just drive through it.

Next is San Gimignano, known for its medieval towers (some call it the "Manhattan of the Middle Ages"). You'll have time to walk the cobbled streets, see the main squares, and stop for gelato at one of Tuscany's most well-known gelaterias if you'd like.

The last stop is Siena. A local guide will walk you through the city's historic Contrade districts and tell you about the Palio horse race, then take you to Piazza del Campo and the Siena Cathedral.
