- Due to a few stairs to access wine cellars, this tour is not accessible for those using a wheelchair
- Vegetarian & gluteen free, can be accommodated, please advise at time of booking under special requirements.
- Wines tasted: reds typical of the Chianti region ( normally Chianti Classico, Riserva, Super Tuscans, Gran Selezione, etc.).
- Operates rain or shine, please dress appropriately
- Luggage can be stored on the bus during the tour, if needed
- Return at departure point: 1:45pm for the 9.00am tour - 7:00pm for the 2:30pm tour. To reserve other activities, allow plenty of time, in case of heavy traffic, etc.
- Visited wineries may vary depending on their availability, etc.; they may be 2 of the following Fattoria Montecchio, Casa Emma, San Michele a Torri, Villa Poggio Torselli, Podere Anselmo, Casa di Monte, Tenuta Capponi, Villa i Langi, Tenuta San Vito, etc.
- For cruise ship passengers only: if your ship docks at Livorno or La Spezia Port, be advised that the driving time to the meeting point in Florence is approx. 2 hours. Before booking, be sure your ship schedule works with our departure times, and you have your own transportation arranged from the port to Florence and back.

The guide, Jason, was friendly, engaging, full of energy and had the ability to make the whole tour group laugh. He was also very knowledgable about the area. The driver, Antonio, seemed to share the same personality traits as Jason. The countryside was absolutely amazing to see. The wine tasting was excellent as were the small platters of food served with them. The whole experience ran smoothly and was the perfect way to begin my first time in Florence.
Delightful Chianti wine tasting experience
This was such a fun and delicious experience - especially enjoyed Casa Emma, a small organic winery with a lovely atmosphere. The group size was just right and so was the length of visit.
Great time!
Visited two nice wineries and drank plenty of good wine. Our guide, RAF, was a lot of fun and did a great job getting everyone engaged in the experience. The small bus was comfortable but a little tight on leg room. After the first winery everyone was more talkative. After the second winery the bus was rocking out. Highly recommend.
Time to wine down
Fun educational trip to two wineries. Marco are host and Alex our driver were entertaining and full of information. The wineries hosted us with bread, cheese, meats, great wines, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The views of the Tuscan countryside were spectacular and the bus was full of music, singing and laughter. Highly recommend for a relaxing day on a hectic vacation. Grazie!!
