- Comfortable casual clothing is always recommended on our ballooning excursions, as we are enjoying nature in a desert environment. The temperature in the balloon is about the same as on the ground, so be sure to dress appropriately for the day’s anticipated temperatures. On any given day we recommend closed toe shoes, a light jacket, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses and a camera
- To ensure a safe hot air ballooning experience, passengers may not be pregnant at the time of flight, or have had recent surgery or broken bones, and should be able to stand for the duration of the flight (approximately 60 minutes). One should be able to jump off the second step of a ladder and be in good general health. All passengers are required to complete a waiver of liability before the tour.

Highly Recommend!
What a wonderful experience! This was a bucket-list adventure for us, and our captain, Jonathan, along with the rest of the crew, Nate and Nick (the “B Boys”), made it even better than I could have imagined. We met up at the expected time and were soon enjoying a beautiful sunrise from the air, along with some fascinating history and information about the landscape we were seeing. I was a little nervous about the landing, but there was no need to be—it was incredibly smooth, gentle, and actually a lot of fun! We wrapped up the experience with a delicious little breakfast and some champagne. What a fantastic way to start the day! A huge thank-you to Jonathan, Nate, and Nick for making this bucket-list experience so memorable. Highly recommend!

What an incredible experience! Jonathan was a fantastic pilot—knowledgeable, entertaining, and made the entire ride so much fun. We went much higher than we expected, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Watching the sunrise from the balloon and taking in the beautiful Arizona vistas was spectacular. A few helpful tips: you can absolutely wear shorts. If you’re going in the summer, keep in mind that between the Arizona heat and the heat from the balloon burners, it gets very hot, so definitely wear a hat and dress comfortably. Getting in and out of the basket was also much easier than on other balloon rides we’ve done, which was a nice surprise. The scenery is beautiful, but this particular ride is over more wide-open desert space than some other balloon rides, so the experience is really about the expansive views, sunrise, and feeling of being high above the desert rather than flying over lots of varied landmarks. We also loved learning about the history and traditions of hot air ballooning. Ending the experience with champagne and our flight certificates was such a special touch. A memorable Arizona experience, and Jonathan made it eXtra.

This was on my bucket list of things I wanted to do. It was well worth getting up before dawn! Our captain, Jonathon, was fantastic as well as his flight crew! We would definitely experience this again!

Absolutely wonderful! Great views from the sky. Jonathan and crew were amazing! Friendly and helpful. Also enjoyed the continental breakfast afterwards. Best of all it was something fun!!!
