At 2,863 metres (or 9,395 ft), Triglav stands above the many peaks of the beautiful Slovenian Alps. As a symbol of Slovenia, it is said that you’re not a true Slovenian until you reach Triglav's peak. But if you’re not a local and climb Triglav, you can become an honorary “citizen” overnight.
Since it is a popular mountain, you can often run into traffic, especially during high season. This is where our expert guides come in - they know how to get you off the beaten path, so you can avoid the crowds and enjoy the striking mountain scenery.
But the view isn’t the only highlight of this trip. You might be able to spot some of the famous mountain wildlife like the chamois and the marmot that are known to come quite close to you hikers if you don’t scare them away.

The hike up Mount Triglav is super fun. Our professional guide will make your climb more interesting and informative. The climb route itself is not too demanding. Although certain parts of the climb can seem a bit intimidating, route is accessible also for an amateur hike. The views on the way and from the summit are stunning. Sleeping in the mountain hut is definite must do while visiting Slovenian Julian Alps!
