Trekking from Bjni to Tsaghkadzor

The adventurous day will start as your guide greets you at the lobby of your hotel. Then, our vehicle will take us to Bjni, a former spa town, famous for its mineral water. After one hour drive, we will arrive at Bjni, where our trekking will start. Here, we will reveal the ruins of its fortress (10th century), the church Saint-Gevorg (13th century) and the church of St. Astvatsatsin (10th century). Our trekking will bring us to the high path along the mountain outcrop, from where we will be able to admire the valley of Hrazdan, the Tsaghkunyats Mountain Range and even the chain of Geghama. You will unveil interesting geological formations including a natural arch. The final point of our trekking will be the town of Tsaghkadzor, a small spa and recreation town, also known as popular ski resort. The town offers many interesting activities and trails for hiking. During the stroll around the town we will explore the 13th century Monastery of Kecharis, where some of the oldest khachkars in Armenia are located. In the evening our vehicle will take us back to the capital city.
