Famous for Edakkal Caves, Soochipara Waterfalls, Kuruvadweep, Banasura Sagar Dam and the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, this town in Kerela is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna and especially tea plantations. At such a location, camping is the best way to experience nature at its best.
The campsite is located in Chundale, a beautiful town near Wayanad.
Day 1 -
To partake in this event, you have to arrive in Chundale, Wayanad around 02:30 PM.
Listen to the short briefing about the activity and start cycling through the craggy roads of enlarged tea plantations of Wayanad.
It extends up to 2-3 hours. Conclude the activity around 06:00 PM and enjoy a cup of tea and snacks.
Later, head to the Wayanad campsite where you stay overnight.
Around 08:30, local Wayanad dinner will be served. A bonfire will also be arranged near the tents depending on the weather condition.
Retire for the night by 11:00 PM.
Day 2 -
Post breakfast around 8:00 AM, get guided to the trekking base point.
Start trekking by 09:30 AM.
After relishing the astounding beauty from the hills start descending around 12:30 PM and wind up the tour.
At the end of the trekking, water and snack will be provided.
