Trekking Aconcagua reach Confluencia base camp

Summary

We will drive around 2 hours along Route No. 7 up to Horcones valley at the entrance to Aconcagua Provincial Park. Once we arrive, we'll get ready to start our adventure, going to a 6-hour trekking to Confluencia, the first camp site in trail for Aconcagua Andinists on the way to reaching its peak. This moderate trek offers to all travelers the possibility to get in touch with the Aconcagua atmosphere staying at the first section of the park. Even though the trek is moderate, the altitude is high, going from 2000masl to 3400 masl in Confluencia. We´ll observe and learn about the flora, fauna and geology of the region. Once in Confluencia, we'll enjoy our lunch box, while our guide will share with you the best stories at the foothills of the Aconcagua mount.
