We ride the bikes on one of the most famous roads in the world, The Transfagarasan Pass. The pass was built by Nicolae Ceausescu in the early 70’s as a response to the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia. The former dictator wanted a quick military access across the mountains in case of an invasion.
On the way back we will also ride the picturesque Rucar Bran Pass, with a break at one of the best known Castles in Romania, Bran Caste, commonly known as famous Dracula Castle.
