Why take this tour?

Located in the commune of Buin, at the foot of the Andes mountain range and less than 1 hour from Santiago, we find the Santa Rita Vineyard, the oldest in Chile. Its origins date back to 1814 when it was still a hacienda, Mrs. Paula Jaraquemada housed 120 Chilean soldiers commanded by General San Martín, who fled the war after being overtaken by Spanish troops. Years later, it was bought by Don Domingo Fernández Concha and in 1880 it became the first vineyard in the country. The history of the 120 allowed one of its most famous wines to be created; the "120" which lives up to the brave refugee soldiers in this place and today is consumed by most Chilean families. Come to know more about this beautiful vineyard, its history and its wines.
