I was looking g forward to this tur and it didn't disappoint. We visited 3 pubs outside of the Temple Bar area to hear jigs and reels played on Irish pipes, flutes, tin whistles, fiddles, concertinas, accordions, guitars and banjos. The pubs were crowded but we made it into all three.
Fabulous Experience - 10/10 Recommend!
The Irish Musical Pub Crawl was one of the true highlights of our trip to Dublin. The music was fabulous - but we also learned some history, which was interesting and entertaining. Our very favorite part was the sense of community created by the two performers with all the audience members, including asking about where people were from, identifying various Irish heritage names, and providing opportunities for performing (singing, dancing, playing the piano). The entire experience was just delightful - as my husband noted, it made us feel better about humanity.
So much fun!
Brenda and Owen were great musicians who were entertaining and talented. We enjoyed the sing-a-longs and learned a bit about Irish music. So much fun!
Great experience
Both of the musicians/singers were excellent! They explained what they were playing and singing. They are very talented on their instruments. And there were many. The only thing I wish the bars were a little closer.

This was a fantastic experience. I didn’t realize that our guides would be explaining instruments and playing for us. I learned a lot and I appreciated both musicians. We went to two pubs and that was plenty. They also shared some other places to listen to music in Dublin. Great job Brenda and..Neil? (Not sure of his name)
