The Tangier tour begins with sightseeing and a drive through the residential areas and main streets of Tangier including the King's palace.
The tour will continue to Cap Spartel which is north-west Tanger. This is where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea. We will ride camels near the Atlantic Ocean then visit the Hercules cave (2500 years old) where Hercules is said to have lived.
We will explore the medina which is the old city. This is where the walking tour will begin. We will make our way through the Kasbah (old fortress) and wander through the narrow streets and discover the rich history of the old city.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with Moroccan cuisine and a breathtaking view.
We will visit the Archaeological Museum, old American Legation, followed by the Mendoubia Gardens and the Saint Andrews Church.
You will have an opportunity to shop at local artesian markets.
Asilah is a small city an hour away from Tangier. It is full of history and well preserved. It's often overlooked but it's too close to miss.
Wander through the whitewashed alleys of the medina. Visit the ramparts and look out at the sea- Puerto de Asilah and much more!
Concluding the tour you will have free time to shop or relax with a glass of Moroccan mint tea or coffee at a cafe and people watch like locals. Following this time, your guide will escort you back to the port or your accommodations.
