Why take this tour?

Visit Montserrat Museum and marvel at its cultural heritage. While many aspects of its history were lost in the Napoleonic War, there are still plenty of interesting artistic elements that continue to delight modern-day visitors. Study the architecture of the basilica, which combines Gothic and Renaissance styles. Finally, see the beautiful atrium and sacristy and gain an appreciation for the talents of singers, composers, and teachers through a showing of the choir line. We have two different modalities for this tour, you will have to choose between only a transfer to Montserrat or a full tour to Montserrat.

Montserrat’s only transfer option just includes transportation from Barcelona to Montserrat. In a comfortable bus, you will arrive at the Monserrat Monastery, located 720 meters above sea level. You will be able to watch the sunrise from the fabulous mountainside on which the monastery is built. From the heights, you will get a great impression of this place, surrounded by impressive rocks and peculiar vegetation. Without a doubt, you will be admired! Decide to visit the monastery on your own or to make some of the many hiking routes!

Montserrat’s full tour option includes transportation from Barcelona to Montserrat, tickets, a guided visit, and a liquor tasting. Learn about local culture and history inside the museum and visit the Black Madonna at the Royal Basilica. You will also be able to learn about monastic life in this place, visit its basilica, tour the Plaza de Santa María and discover the many figures it hides and see the impressive organ from 1896.
