Summary

The tour begins as soon as you step off your cruise ship and your guide meets you with a sign. After taking a brief tour of the city and snapping photos from a scenic vista point, board an air-conditioned vehicle and head to the Tortuguero Canals for a 1-hour boat ride featuring the area’s many plants and animals. Continue to a fruit stand and banana plantation to learn about some of Costa Rica’s biggest exports and sample fruits unique to tropical environments.
