This tour is designed to showcase Niagara Falls at its best—glowing in daylight and dazzling after dark. Travel from Toronto by coach to enjoy the Niagara Whirlpool, a maple syrup, chocolate, and fudge tasting, and golden-hour views at Table Rock. Optional add-ons include a winter-only Journey Behind the Falls or a helicopter ride (available year-round as a day-of add-on). Dinner at Queen Victoria Place is an optional upgrade and includes exclusive Illumination Tower access to light up the Falls. Guests who do not choose dinner or attractions will enjoy free time at Table Rock and Clifton Hill before rejoining the group.
In summer, guests who add on the boat tour will finish the evening with a 9:30 PM fireworks cruise on the Niagara River, while others enjoy the show from Table Rock or the Parkway.
In winter, after dinner and Tower access, the tour continues with a scenic drive through the Winter Festival of Lights (Nov 15–Jan 4).

What’s the main difference between the summer and winter versions of this tour?
In summer (mid-May to mid-Oct), the signature highlight is the 9:30 PM Fireworks Cruise (Apr 1–Nov 1). In winter (Nov–Mar), the cruise is not available, but the tour includes Journey Behind the Falls (timed at 4:15 PM) and, from Nov 15–Jan 4, the Winter Festival of Lights drive. Both seasons include Whirlpool, Maple Leaf Place tasting, Table Rock views, and the option of Queen Victoria Place dinner with Illumination Tower access.
Is the Illumination Tower included for everyone?
No. The Illumination Tower is exclusively for guests who book the Queen Victoria Place dinner add-on. If you don’t choose dinner, you’ll enjoy free time at Clifton Hill/Table Rock during that slot and watch the Falls illumination and fireworks from public viewpoints.
What happens if I don’t do the dinner, boat, or Journey Behind the Falls?
Guests who skip these add-ons always get free time: Summer (no dinner/boat): extra free time at Clifton Hill/Table Rock and fireworks from land. Winter (no dinner/JBF): free time at Clifton Hill or Table Rock exhibits/shops before rejoining the group.
Are fireworks guaranteed?
Fireworks run nightly at 10:00 PM from mid-May to mid-October, weather permitting. If canceled, the Falls are still illuminated, and you’ll enjoy extended viewing at Table Rock and the Parkway.
Is the boat cruise included in winter?
No. The boat cruise operates April 1–Nov 1. In summer, dinner guests can add the 9:30 PM Fireworks Cruise. In winter, this is replaced with Journey Behind the Falls and, seasonally, the Winter Festival of Lights.
Can I do both the helicopter and the maple tasting/Whirlpool?
Not in summer. Helicopter guests in summer will miss the Whirlpool + Maple Leaf Place stop (to keep timing). In winter, helicopter flights are earlier and usually allow rejoining the main coach for the tasting.
What meal options are available?
Dinner at Queen Victoria Place is optional. Guests booking it receive a preset two-course menu with vegetarian options available. Please notify us of dietary needs at booking. Guests who do not book dinner enjoy free time before the Tower visit (Tower is included only with dinner).
Is this tour suitable for families and seniors?
Yes. It’s a coach-based tour with moderate walking at viewpoints and attractions. Free-time flexibility makes it family-friendly, and heated/cooled coaches keep it comfortable year-round.
