Located in one of the most beautiful and oldest neighborhoods in Mexico City, the Casa Azul was converted into a museum in 1958, four years after the death of the famous painter Frida Kahlo.
This house-museum is full of history, as it is the same house where Frida was born, lived and died. Although when she married Diego Rivera she lived in different places in Mexico City and abroad, in the end she never left her picturesque home in Coyoacán.
Upon entering this place and without being a great admirer, you will feel yourself traveling back to the years of the painter's universe, because not only are some of her most famous works such as Viva la Vida or Frida and the caesarean section, but there are also newspapers, clothing, accessories, among many other articles and objects for personal use.
