Is there a commentary available in my language?
Yes. The tour offers pre-recorded audio commentary in 9 languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Turkish, Hebrew, and Russian.
How often do the buses run?
Buses on the Red Route run approximately every 45 minutes. Timings may vary depending on traffic and operational conditions.
On which days does the tour operate?
A complete circuit of the Red Route takes approximately 1 hour, 30 minutes. Please allow for more time if you plan to hop on and off at any of our stops.
Do I need to specify a date of travel?
Yes. You must select the date you plan to start your tour when booking. If your ticket is valid for multiple days, it must be used on consecutive days starting from the selected date. Some tickets may also require a time selection. Check your booking confirmation email for full details.
How do I redeem my ticket?
Show your printed ticket to a member of staff at Stop #1 or with your Bus Driver. They'll issue you a receipt that you'll be able to use to hop on the bus throughout the validity of your ticket. Note that the paper ticket is the one that replaces your digital voucher so make sure you keep hold of it.
Are child tickets available?
Yes. Child tickets are available for children aged 4–12. Children aged 3 under travel free when accompanied by an adult.

I bought the ticket but it’s for someone else. It has my name on it, is this ok?
You're all set! Simply show your voucher(s) to our sales team at Stop#1, who will scan the QR code and hand over your Big Bus Tour tickets. Don't lose them, they're like gold (cash) and cannot be replaced.
Can I change the date (and time) of my tour?
You can change the date or time of your tour up to 72 hours before departure. To make changes quickly, contact customer service via the chat button or through the Big Bus Tours app.
