The Reykjavik Microbrewery and Distillery tour in Iceland is a unique experience that allows visitors to learn about the process of brewing and distilling in Iceland. A comfortable car and an excellent local driver guide will take you on this experience, so the only thing you need to take care of is indulging in the knowledge and drinks provided while on tour. The tour either starts with a visit to Malbygg Microbrewery, where guests will learn about the brewing history in Iceland, the brewing process, and the different types of beer produced at the brewery. Guests can then sample some of the best beers produced on-site.
Next or sometimes starts, the tour moves on to the Eimverk distillery, where guests will learn about the history of distilling in Iceland, the distillation process, and the different types of spirits produced at the distillery. Guests will also be able to sample plenty of the Whiskey and some other Spirits produced on-site.
Throughout the tour, guests will learn about the local ingredients used to make the spirits and Microbrews and gain insight into the unique challenges of distilling & brewing in Iceland's harsh climate.
