Why take this tour?
This city tour starts before dawn for a sunrise breakfast on the Amador Causeway with amazing views of the city skyline. It includes a walk to the summit of Ancon Hill, where you'll see how the tropical rainforest embraces the modern metropolis. We'll also visit the Miraflores Visitors Center. In the observation deck you'll see the hundred year old lock gates and the process of vessels being raised. The museum displays the historical events and importance of the construction and watershed of the canal. Our last stop is Casco Antiguo, the spanish colonial quarters reestablished in 1671 after the pirate attacks of Panama Viejo. A UNESCO World Heritage Site with beautiful architecture, where you’ll get a taste of history and delicious Panamanian cuisine. We’ll visit historical cathedrals, plazas and walkways.
