This is a guided downhill bike tour along the slopes of Haleakala, entirely on paved roadways. This 25 mile ride has LESS than 1 mile of peddling, it's safe and FUN!

The company owner, Billy, personally guides "almost" every single tour.

You'll ride on a custom built bike from 6,600 feet all the way down to sea level.

Starting outside of Haleakala National Park, you'll ride through an expansive open cattle ranch with bi-coastal views of Maui (clouds permitting), the quaint towns of Kula, Makawao and ending in the center of Paia Town.

There is a chase van that blocks cars so you are able to ride in the middle of the lane on the roadways. Using our coordinated traffic system cars will never be directly behind you when you are on the bike.

We stop along the way to take pictures, talk about the history of the area, pet horses, snack on local food, laugh, etc.

Although this is a group activity, you will be able to enjoy the ride at a pace you're comfortable with. You're welcome to bring personal belongings and leave them in the chase van for the duration of the tour. We provide you with everything you could possibly need to safely enjoy this tour.

We provide you with everything you could possibly need to do this excursion. All you need to do is show up with clothes on and please wear close toed shoes.
We will have jackets, pants and gloves for you to use if you would like to borrow some for the excursion.
Helmets - You can choose the style of helmet you wish to use. You can use a full face helmet or you can use a traditional bicycle helmet. We are the only bicycle tour business that offers both styles.
Bicycle - We provide you with the safest bicycle possible for this excursion.

Safe and easy! For the past 9 years we have been rated the best downhill ride on the island of Maui. The safest bikes, the smartest tour time and the only company where the owner guides the tours. We offer our guests an original experience. You do not have to wake up at 2am on your vacation to do the Haleakala Downhill Bike Ride, and for many reasons you should not. Biking after sunrise is a mess, it happens during the morning rush hour, it is cold, it is unsafe, it is over-rated, it is over-priced and you can do way better. Bike with us at 9am, in a small group that has a personal touch where the owner does the guiding himself. We take a max of 7, the other guys go in groups as large as 25. You do the math. We also offer a variety of other tours, most famously our Road To Hana Tour. Come with us to get the Hana experience that you see in the pictures, the tour you want. We will not cram you in a big bus, we will give you a personal tour and take you to do the things you want to do.
