On this tour, you will visit many famous Old Town locations.

Our tour makes full use of the Historic Edinburgh Tours archive of images. Robert, your guide, will bring an A3 book of images which will help you imagine Old Edinburgh as it once was. Numerous 'then and now' opportunities arise on this tour!

Your tour combines archive images, well-told stories and an interesting and scenic tour route which is accessible for most mobility levels. Your guide, Robert, has lived in Edinburgh all his life. He is a local school teacher and has researched and led all of our tours. Robert has appeared as a local guide on international television and has been leading tour groups since 2004. We can also offer you a variety of private tour options as well as guided walking tours of the Canongate, Greyfriars Kirkyard and Victorian Edinburgh.
