The most interesting countryside cycling tour in Hoi An: fishing - gardening - cooking with the Local

At about 8.30 or 1.pm our tour guide will pick up at your hotel start the tour by bikes to Cam Thanh Coconut Village then learn about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families and their community. Board on boat and commence cruising on the Cua Dai River. Join local fisherman on the river and enjoy hands-on experience from learning traditional fishing techniques by casting a net or dragging net with your hand to paddling the strange and unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats while exploring the now tranquil coconut-palm flanked water ways of a past war.

   On this tour we provide an authentic social and cultural insight into the local Vietnamese way of life. As well you will take part in some hands-on activities that are fun, safe and interesting to people all of ages.

 Get on board, take a rest and continue to Tra Que Vegetable Village. They will pass through the bendy small narrow roads in the village to one of the typical local houses. Here, you will enjoy glasses of É (seeds from mint) herbal tea with own typical taste of the village. You will learn the history of the foundation and development of the vegetable village. After that, the local farmers will take them to visit the vegetable gardens to see several kinds of vegetables and kinds of fennel. They can exchange the techniques of planting and take care the vegetables with the local farmers. You will practice vegetables farming with hoeing soil, planting, watering, harvesting vegetables, and so on. When the vegetable cultivating finishes, taking photos or filming the scenery of Tra Que Vegetable Village.  

   Back to the local farmer’s house, you  will be soaked your feet into warm basins cooked from medicinal herbs for treatment of rheumatism, muscle pains, and so on. You will feel comfortable and relaxed after a long trip. Next, you will learn and prsctice cooking class with local food spectralities of the village by skilled and professional chef with dishes such as: 

 - Tam Huu (the food includes herbs, lean pork, onion and prawns)   

 -  Banh xeo (rice pancake folded in half and filled with a shrimp, pork, bean sprouts) 

After learning cooking, you will have lunch or dinner with some of the local food.

 2.30 pm or 7pm finish tour at your hotel.
