The Fall of the wall: A light for humanity

With the mix sounds of the news around the world on the day the Berlin Wall fell, this tour begins in Nordbahnhof, known as the Ghost Station. With 3D sound effects, guide yourself following the voice of your narrator. Your walk will take you to the Visitor Center of the Berlin Wall Memorial, where you will discover the "street of tears." You will also learn about the window of remembrance, where you will see how the steel tubes emerging from the ground recreate the exact path the wall had. The memorial is a stretch of seventy meters of original wall, making it one of the most emotional places in Berlin, and a place to pay respect to the victims of this chapter in history. The walk continues, taking you to the Documentation Center and The Viewing Platform, where the narrator tells you the story behind Checkpoint Charlie.The tour ends in the last stop which represents forgiveness and resilience from the German people, The Chapel of Reconciliation.
