One of our professional river guides will keep you entertained and informed about the river & local natural history. With 360 degree views, you have vistas of the Tetons to the North, the Snake River Range to the South , Munger Mountain west and the Gros Ventre range east. Known as the areas premier Bald Eagle nesting habitat these majestic birds are a guaranteed sighting: occasionally over 20 on one trip! Ospreys, beaver, otters, and larger ungulates like moose, elk, and deer all call this stretch of river home. Our eagle eye guides are experts at spotting and pointing out all the features of this wetland from flora to fauna. You can sit back and relax as they do the work, it's a precious break from the hustle and bustle. Go ahead and enjoy the quiet and ease with the sound of the water under you. WHAT TO WEAR:
For scenic floats, you should dress according to the weather. Keep in mind that the weather changes quickly at mountain elevations, and layering your clothing will enhance your comfort. This way you can peel or add layers as the conditions change. Sturdy shoes you wouldn't mind getting wet or dirty are recommended.
