Telluride Rafting on the San Miguel River: Full-Day Rafting

Summary Description

Your adventure starts in the morning at Caddis Flats Campground, where you'll meet your guide and receive your safety gear. Then hop on a shuttle for the ride to the San Miguel River, one of Colorado's lesser-known waterways, featuring twists, rolling rapids, and forested red-rock walls.

When you arrive, listen to a safety briefing before hopping on your raft, and then take off along the water, navigating continuous Class II rapids on the fast-flowing river — there will be plenty of paddling. Tackle the Class III rapids of Three Sisters and Saw Pit, and then stop on the riverbank for a deli-style lunch.

After eating, paddle through more Class II rapids before your tour ends with the shuttle ride back to your starting point, arriving in the late afternoon.
