Taste of Jamaica Food Tour from Ocho Rios

Pickups are made at the cruise port or your Ocho Rios hotel by private vehicle. Meet your guide and journey through the mountains until reaching the rainforest of Fern Gully, home to more than 350 species of ferns and other plant life.

Sample a variety of local fruits at a fruit stand before moving on to the Breadnut Hill community where you'll get a look at local life.

Following a coastline ridge, your guide stops for photo ops of the Caribbean Sea. You can purchase refreshments from a bar before continuing on to the Ocho Rios Jerk Centre for lunch. Sink your teeth into jerk pork or chicken served with rice and peas and accompanied by a soft drink.

After this authentic Jamaican meal, you're returned to the port or your hotel.

On this tour you will enjoy sightseeing through the mountains and local communities and town center. Discover the beautiful Fern Gully with it's hundreds of different ferns and stop at a local fruit stand where you can sample exotic fruits of the island. Stop for an authentic Jamaican jerk lunch and finish your day with some local shopping.
