Tamang Heritage Trail Trekking

Day 1: Arrival In Kathmandu and transfer to hotel Our representatives will be ready to receive you at Tribhuvan International Airport from where you will be taken directly to your hotel. After refreshments, you will be introduced to the guides and office staff which clears our activities of the day. You are free to take a lovely stroll around the local region or stay back at the hotel enjoying the amenities. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu. Start point Our representatives will be ready to receive you at Tribhuvan International Airport from where you will be taken directly to your hotel, Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Full Day Sightseeing The journey kicks off with a breathtaking journey around the Kathmandu Valley touring its premium destinations that have managed to find a place in the UNESCO world's heritage list. We begin with Swayambhunath climbing its stairs which are said to encompass the 13 paths to reach enlightenment. The Hindu heritage of Pashupatinath is next on our list resonating in the prayers of thousands who visit the temple each day. We head towards Kathmandu Durbar square to witness a historical journey encompassing generations of Nepalese Kings before ending our journey at Boudhanath well known for its sunset views. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu. Day 3: Drive From Kathmandu To Syabrubesi | Drive On 4WD 6-7 Hrs Today, we head to the trailhead at Sybrubensi. The traffic of Kathmandu is swiftly left behind as the bends of the highway come to our rescue. The raging Trishuli soon comes into action often packed with rafters seeking to conquer the raging river. The pleasant ride takes us past captivating landscapes filled with terraced farmlands and Hilly lands ending at Sybrubensi. Overnight stay at Sybrubensi. Day 4: Trek From Sybrubensi To Gatlang | Trekking 4-5 Hrs Our first day on the trail and we are greeted by a wonderful ascend heading towards Rongga Bhanjyang. The trail enters the growing forest descending gradually towards Goljung village. Accompanied by the peaking Himalayas beyond the disappearing hills, we continue towards Gatlang Village. The trail continues to rise before reaching to Parvati Kunda which works as a buffer zone for the nature lover in all of us. Overnight stay at Gatlang. Day 5: Trek From Gatlang To Tatopani | Trekking 5-6 Hrs Today, we head to the picturesque village of Tatopani. The journey out of Gatlang begins with a swift descent through the forested trails adorned by Sal, juniper and oak trees. Crossing the village of Chilime, we reach a suspension bridge beyond which lies Gonggang rising through the terraced farmlands. The final stretch of the trail takes us past the familiar forested route ascending towards Tatopani. Overnight stay at Tatopani. Day 6: Trek From Tatopani To Nagthali | Trekking 5-6 Hrs Washing down all our bodily aches in the hot water springs the region is well known for we head towards the vibrant hamlet of Nagthali which at 3,165m is the highest point of the trek. The ragged forested trail begins its ascent reaching the quaint hamlet of Brimdang followed by another ascent to reach Nagthali. Overnight stay at Nagthali. Day 7: Trek From Nagthali To Briddhim | Trekking 5-6 Hrs The trail today winds down through the familiar forests alive with wildlife including the elusive red pandas. Descending down to the village of Thuman which further heads down to the sandy banks of Bhote Koshi River. The trail continues alongside the river heading upstream to Lingling village beyond which lies Briddim an ideal homestay destination to build upon the knowledge of Tamang culture and their unique way of life. Overnight stay at Briddhim. Day 8: Trek From Briddhim To Syabrubesi |Trekking 4 Hrs Our final day of the journey is a short one as we make our way to Sybrubensi. The journey begins with the usual stunning landscapes and mesmerizing viewpoints made even more captivating by the vibrant Tamang hamlets. Heading out through the forested trail alive with the sound of birds we find ourselves right beside the familiar bends of Trishuli River eventually reaching Sybrubensi. Overnight stay at Sybrubensi. Day 9: Drive Back To Kathmandu | Drive 6-7 Hours On 4WD Today, we head back to Kathmandu valley landing once again at the now-familiar hilly landscapes. For the last time, we are accompanied by Trishuli River and stunning Hilly landscapes which makes up for a perfect end to the trip. We directly head back to our hotel in Kathmandu where much-awaited refreshments and a warm farewell dinner awaits us. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.
