Why take this tour?

Hike up Table Mountain, one of the 7 New Natural Wonders of the World, with a highly experienced local guide, who can tell you everything about the abundant flora and fauna of the area! The beauty of this spectacular rock formation can be admired from multiple angles in Cape Town but hiking Table Mountain is the best way to get the ultimate mountain experience and admire the breathtaking views once you stand on top. Platteklip Gorge is the most straight forward direct ascent and the first route used by early explorers to reach the summit. This trail is the easiest but still gains around 700 meters over a distance of 3 km, so its quite steep. The path goes through a deep ravine on the iconic front face of the mountain and features stunning surroundings all the way to the top. The routes takes between 1H30 to 3H to complete depending on one's fitness level. Hikers are advised to stop regularly along the way to marvel at the spectacular views.
