Get picked up from the doorstep of your hotel a little before your departure time. Depending on what option you chose, your tour could start at 10am or 3pm. Ride in an air-conditioned minivan to all your tour stops, and relax as your guide brings you up to speed on Singapore’s past, present, and future plans for ecological sustainability.
Head to Singapore River, which was once extremely polluted, but today is much cleaner thanks to a government-issued cleanup. Next, pay a visit to Marina Barrage, a dam that features one of the largest collections of solar panels in Singapore. The dam also helps to alleviate flooding in low-lying areas, and supplies 10 percent of the nation's water.
Travel over to NEWater Plant, the plant where water waste is treated to make it safe to drink, before going to Supertree Grove at Gardens by the Bay. You might get surprised at the grove by the work done to make Singapore eco-friendly. Eleven of the Supertrees are embedded with environmentally sustainable functions, which your guide teaches you about.
Once your tour ends, enjoy the ride back to your hotel in the minivan.
Please note: A minimum of two people per booking is required.
