Surin Islands Snorkeling Adventure

Overall, it was a successful day trip. Very good organization smooth process from pick up from hotel to bring back there. Friendly and competent crew. Scenic a very nice excursion. While snorkeling you will find a variety of different fish on the coral reefs. Drinks and small snacks in sufficient numbers are available throughout the day

I was so impressed with the professional quality of the tour. The boat was in pristine condition, the guides were knowledgeable and hilarious (+great photographers 🙂), the food service was timely and so many delicious snacks were served on the boat! I went with my sister and we both throughly enjoyed the Surin islands. Not only was the water crystal clear we also saw a whale and a sea turtle from the boat. I would highly recommend this trip for anyone looking to see some amazing coral reefs and some of the bluest water I have ever seen.

An excellently organised trip where staff went over and above to ensure we had and excellent time. Boat was comfortable and not overcrowded (24 of us). Time spent at each location was spot on and the food was excellent. We were a family of four with a 13 and 9 year old. We were worried that the 1hr40 min speedboat ride would be too long and bumpy for them but it was neither. In fact the green curry back at their buffet dinner was one of the best we've had!

After trying to research all the options I gave up and booked our trip through our hotel. We booked with wow andaman and children over 11 are classes as adults 🙈 It worked out at about £113 each. 3 adults 1 child. Probably the most expensive tour we could have booked! We got picked up at 7 and taken to the marina. Decent breakfast offered. You can rent fins and towels for a 200 baht deposit each which is returned at the end. Also given sea sickness pills. The kids hated the Finns but I loved them. The boat was decent. 32 people on it so not overfilled. It took 1 hr 45 minutes to get to surin! We stopped at the gypsy sea village which was great. You have 40 ish mins there. First snorkelling spot 3 mins away from there. It was ok but weather wasn’t great. Then go to lunch where we had 1 hr 30 mins. Buffet lunch - rice, veg, curry, fried chicken and fruit. Beautiful beach where you can swim. Probably given a bit too long there. We headed back to boat at 1:40 Then second snorkelling which was great. 30 mins. Clown fish everywhere. Then next snorkelling 3 mins away - pineapple island it was INCREDIBLE- underwater scenery Is amazing and it’s next to the deep blue so my kids kept going to the edge of the reef panicking and coming back! 😆 I would have loved to have gone diving here. So much to see. You could hire cameras but we didn’t know - bit gutted about that. After each snorkelling plenty of snacks - coconut ice cream is incredible may I add. Travelled the 1 hr 45 back and to be honest our captain was great. The sea was choppy and he handled it well. I hate the bang bang of a speedboat - but he limited that so much I fell asleep! We got back to another meal of curry, noodles, rice and mango sticky rice and more coconut ice cream! Given 30 mins here - I have never been so tired. We got back to the room showered and all just flopped! Great day out - it was the cloudiest day since we got here so sun would have helped. I’d recommend extra towels as I was cold on-the way back and felt like I’d sat in soggy clothes. I’m sure we could have got it cheaper but overall 3 meals, snacks, village , 3 snorkels! Experiences of a life time xx

An excellent trip well organised and great staff, would recommend. It was nearly 2 hours each way on the speed boat to get there and back but worth it. We saw some of the best coral I’ve ever seen and lots of fish types too.
