Good to know
- Limited wheelchair accessibility. Buses are not equipped with wheelchair lifts. Storage is available for foldable wheelchairs. Passengers must be able to get on and off the bus of their own accord. Wheelchairs may be taken out at the stops if desired.
- All tours are led by tour guides, and take place on luxury coach buses. Buses are air-conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter. Most buses are equipped with bathrooms.
- There are several quick step-off points at some of the locations during the tour.

Marvel for fans or not
If you have marvel fans , it will make you geek out. If you are not, still good information and an overview of lower midtown to downtown. On time, friendly and comfortable.
Superheroes united!
Connor provided us with an excellent and well-documented tour of all the Marvel and DC Comics superhero locations. Highly recommend it!
Superheroes Tour
Booked the Superheroes Tour for me, husband and adult autistic son the evening before. The actual tour was really good, a bit light on the locations visited, but the actor (Haila) was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We appreciated that she never tried to force our son to interact and allowed everyone to talk (or not, if they didn't want to!) She was worth the trip. I also travelled with my wheelchair and was able to stow it in the bus. There was a little walking on the tour but I managed. (I have Fibromyalgia and have just had surgery too.) Driver was very nice, helping me on and off the bus. I have taken a couple of stars off due to the weird phone call we received the night before the event, just after booking. The booking girl (Georgia) said that there was only one seat left on the bus and she wanted more money to get us onto a private tour. We couldn't afford that. She rang around and called back and said she'd managed to get a bigger bus. However, it was a mini bus which turned up on the day, and we were with only 6 more tourists with empty seats on the bus. We did not appreciate them trying to rinse us for more money. I have been on the Sopranos tour with a larger bus in 2015 and it was superb! A full coach, screens, toilet on board, etc. Haila was equipped with an iPad to show the movie scenes and it felt a little low-tech. My son enjoyed it so that was the main thing. Haila and the driver were lovely and we did get to see many iconic locations which were very exciting. I would book it again.
Not a good experience
Unfortunately, we were told within a few minutes of meeting that the tour was off, due to the bus breaking down. While I of course appreciate that unforeseen circumstances occur, I was then informed by On Location Tours that I could not be refunded. as the tour 'had been rescheduled'. As a tourist with a limited and tightly planned schedule, it was impossible for me to attend at the rescheduled time. I was offered tour vouchers, which I declined, as I have no certainty of when I might next return to the United States. I paid for a service that Viator and the tour operator were unable to provide, through no fault of my own. Feel very disappointed to be out of pocket for something that was not my fault.
Great Tour
We had an awesome time. Ryan did a fabulous job. Very knowledgeable. Great way to tour the city. We will have to rewatch a bunch of movies now as we were on location. Definitely recommend!
