Sunset & Dolphin Catamaran Cruise in Panama City Beach

The Island Time sailing catamaran is docked at Treasure Island Marina, located at 3605 Thomas Drive, Panama City Beach, FL 32408. Arrive 30 minutes prior to departure time. (Departure times vary with sunset time.) Check-in at the ticket booth first.   (Please note: This tour departs from Panama City Beach, FL, which is about 3 hours East of Pensacola.)

Once you're on the boat.....relax and unwind! You're on Island Time! Listen to our fun and relaxing playlist while you visit the bartender in the galley to get a snack and drink. Then sit back and enjoy the view! As we cruise through Grand Lagoon the captain will narrate while we pass restaurants, beautiful homes, and St. Andrews State Park. If the seas are rough or winds are strong then the cruise will continue in the Bay, passing Shell Island and the marinas of Panama City to look for dolphins and see the local sights. If conditions are favorable the boat will take you through the shipping channel to the Gulf of Mexico. This is where the local pods of dolphins are often feeding and swimming along or jumping out of the water. Here babies can be seen with their moms and pods can swim right under the boat, giving you the full grasp of their beauty and size. The boat will generally stay in the vicinity of the dolphins for a little while, giving you ample time to take pictures.

As the sun begins to set the boat will cruise, or sail, towards the horizon. Be prepared! The sky can oftentimes light up in an orange blaze or if it recently rained the leftover clouds become a beautiful backdrop for a rainbow of colors that light the sky. But even a normal sunset is exceptional when watching it on the water! Whatever you do, be sure to ask our friendly crew to take some pictures with your group with the sunset behind you.

Once the sun disappears the boat will head back to the dock and that’s when the fun begins! The crew will start it off with a conch shell blowing contest…see who has the most hot air! Next the kiddos, or your more limber friends, can try their hand at hula-hooping. And as the music shifts to more classic and modern dance hits be sure to join the crew to get the entire boat up and dancing. What a great way to end an amazing day at the beach!
