Summary

Your guide will collect you from your hotel foyer at 8:30 am from your hotel lobby. Our first real German experience will be the Autobahn with many "Ausfahrt's" along the way. First stop is the picturesque Abbey of Ettal where Beer and Schnapps are made on the premises. Next stop is the quaint town of Oberammergau where you will be able to take some time to shop in the many stores that offer hand made ornaments and Christmas decorations. Linderhof Palace is 15 minutes drive and we stop here for a tour and a walk in the rolling meadows. Lunch is next at a pristine Alpine Lake overlooking the Alps for the best Austrian beer and schnitzel around. we are only 30 minutes from the famous Castle Neuschwanstein. Due to COVID restrictions getting tickets may be problematic however we have many other options such as the Wittelsbach Museum or the Hohenschwangau Castle. Either way we shall walk or take the bus up to the castle with many photo opportunities to be had especially on Mary's Bridge. Once we have enjoyed the castle we take a walk down to our car and make our way back to Munich arriving at around 7:30 pm at your hotel, exhausted but thrilled to have experienced the true Bavaria.
