Hike until the top Morro da Urca, and see native trees such as redwood and fig trees. Wild animals can also often be seen, such as marmosets and birds Tiê-blood – bird symbol of the Atlantic Forest. From the top of Morro da Urca, you have the option to buy the tickets for the Sugarloaf Cable Car and go up to Sugarloaf mountain or go back down to Praia Vermelha. After the visit, stroll around the historic district and finish your tour with an authentic Carioca happy hour at Mureta da Urca with a spectacular view of Christ, the Redeemer, tasting a beer, and some of the famous Brazilian snacks, like pastel and empada.
