The Subwing gives the opportunity to explore the ocean in a way never done before, you just have to grab two wings (fins) connected with a pivot and let yourself be dragged by a motor boat.
With Subwing you can choose your own rhythm and slide directly on the sand ocean floor, make turns, turns, or simply navigate along the surface. The maneuvers are carried out by placing the wings at different angles, allowing you to easily reach dives (up and down), lateral movements or turns.
The Subwing is a mixture of water skiing and apnea diving, it was designed by the Norwegian Simon Sivertsen. Today fiberglass and carbon fiber wings are sold with prices ranging between 400 and 800 euros.
The Subwing is attached to a boat with a recommended rope length of about 15 meters. The speed of the boat should be around 2-4 knots, with the use of a longer rope, you will be able to make deeper dives.
