Summary

We will sail from Husavik out to Skjalfandi Bay for whale watching and study whales and wildlife. During the tour, we will use a specially designed manta trawl to take examples from the bay. We will analyse the examples onboard with the help of a microscope. You will learn about ecotourism, sustainability and ocean conservation. You'll also learn the old ways of sailing and help out with hoisting the sails. 15% of your ticket price is directly contributed to Ocean Missions, a non-profit organisation in Húsavík.
